About
CAPESA is a research project funded by the ESA's programme STAR in Romania.
The main goal of the CAPESA project is to intensify the participation of the Romanian scientific community to the "ESA contributing missions" through the development and intensification of the Atmospheric Remote Sensing (ARS) research activities.
For this purpose two already existing facilities, ATMOSLAB and RADO will join expertise, infrastructure and efforts. CAPESA will lead to a better understanding of atmospheric processes and their dependency on human actions, since the first step in solving the environmental problems is to establish an objective relation between causes and effects.
